Did you know that a top load washing machine uses
around 160 litres of water per wash. That water goes straight down the
drain. A front load can still use about 50 Litres of water. This can
be saved and reused on your garden. Don't let your garden die this summer keep it green with a grey water wheelie bin.
Why is the bin Lilac (purple)?
This is to insure that it is not confused with mains drinking water. Lilac
is the color code given to recycled water by Australian standards. Make sure you teach your children never drink from a lilac hose or tap?

Quality Hansen plumbing fittings. The 20mm outlet set is
positioned towards the top of the bin to ensure the bin does not
empty through the grey water hose unintentionally. |

20 Metres of lilac thickwall sullage hose, fitted with 20mm
click connectors at either end, and an adjustable spray
nozzle. |

A high quality 20mm Hansen through fitting and ball tap is
provided at the bottom of the Bowser so you can completely drain all
water. The 20 metre sullage hose can be connected to this outlet so
they no water is wasted when emptying the Bowser. |

The pump power lead exits the Bowser through a hole at the top
rear, and is fitted with a weather seal. |

Safety is paramount! The Home Water Bowser includes a keyed
Focus Lock. |
